Great idea for Christmas givingSubmitted by Lydia Vickers on December 9, 2007 - 6:02pm.
Ya'll, check out www.heifer.org for a great idea for Christmas (or anytime). The e-cards are the cutest - we will do both. Dave and I are doing this for our grands, Tatler and Mac. Tatler just started knitting so she will get the "knitting basket" of course. You can buy all or part of different animals and baskets for families all over the world. Won't it be cute when they tell their friends they got a goat, 2 chickens and a knitting basket for poor children this year. Our grands are 10 and 6 so this won't be their only present from us. They already help poor families with their church so this kind of giving is not new to them. I bet this is the one present they never forget. My two cents Lydia Post new comment |
