It appears that Congress is going to give Bush another $70 billion for the war in Iraq. They will probably vote late tonight (in the midnight hours) or early tomorrow. It's moving very quickly.

Bush's "red shirts" are up here standing in front of the House office buildings and playing patriotic songs (like they own them) and holding "support the war, support the president" signs.

I was surrounded by a group and almost brought to tears - seriously, I was alone and they really came down on me. I couldn't move thru the group and won't write what they said - very scary. I won't be going into congress alone anymore for a while.
