60+ people attended a candle-light vigil to mark the sixth anniversary of the Iraq War and Occupation at Lake Ella in downtown Tallahassee. The event was organized by Meredith McMackin, who's son - Marine Cpl. Julian M. Woodalll - died in Iraq in May 2007.

The low key, somber event got off to a slow start but the crowd swelled to over sixty people as dusk fell.
